Fourth in the line up. A solid short and interesting game with those multiple endings encouraging to to meander and try somethign else. Very solid work. And that timer popping up. Devious.
Super jeu! Vraiment j'ai adoré, j'aimerai tellement en voir plus de ce développeur ! // Great game! I really loved it, I'd love to see more from this developer!
After playing your other games, I decided to give this one a try. It was just as good as the others. I didn't know the old man you encounter in "Egg Fried Rice" first appears in this game, LOL.
Looking forward to playing your future projects ;-)
I recently played your game in a 3 scary games and it was awesome just like your other game "Ritual" I really loved that as well. Sadly I wasn't able to get more endings due to a bug. I wasn't able to dispose of the coffee because of it :( But otherwise It's a really cool game! Can't wait for more!
Enjoyed it. Creepy location. I liked how it kicked off by setting the scene with a mini backstory. Look forward to playing more Grainwood in the future!

This was a perfect creepy house! The atmosphere was so great for such a short game. Alas the third ending escaped me like with so many others, but that didn't take away anything from the enjoyment factor.
Awesome little narrative. I went in with very few expectations and was treated to a fairly fleshed out narrative, things to discover to enhance the story and a well paced adventure that builds things up just right. I also appreciate being able to disable video filters and head bob so much! Awesome title.
I could not find one of the endings to save my life though and I think the speed of the car at the start should be adjusted because in my last run I was able to beat the car to the house and it's a bit immersion breaking when you realize it effects nothing.
Very good and overall well done. Only issue is its too brain numbing to get to other endings besides the "you cant move" one. I tried 3 times answer each question at start different and same result. At very least give an indictor of which process to pick answers that would work. Overall great game and great sound affects on rain ect.
Thanks for your kind words and excellent feedback!
I totally agree, the game doesn't lend itself well to replayability. The multiple endings exist because it is fun to have the possibility of different outcomes but I wouldn't feel compelled to find them all as the gameplay remains mostly the same each time. The 'default' ending is certainly the one I expected most people to get but exploration might lead to discoveries that could get a player an alternate ending on their first playthrough, which I like to reward :)
Dialogue options and answers are actually not a deciding factor in the ending you get (though can act as clues at one point, in a way).
I did debate telegraphing the steps to another ending more clearly to aid players, but ultimately decided not to encourage the 'need' for multiple playthroughs because, as mentioned, the gameplay isn't compelling enough to warrent them haha!
This was a great little game! Really fun story and I loved the sound effects, really good with the rain outdoors and indoors! I couldn't figure out how to not drink the damn coffee, I tried 4 times! Spooky and tense, I recommend completely! Here is my gameplay video, sub and help my channel grow!
Thank you so much for the kind words and excellent video playthrough!
Dodging the coffee is tricky and not very obvious if I'm honest! I'll give a clue, there are 3 'discoveries' (things to click on) that lead to changed dialogue when questioning the man (you got 2 of them in your video!). It requires all 3 for your character to be as suspicious as you were haha!
A warning though, even after finding a way to avoid the coffee it is possible to suffer the same fate...
Although the endings are nice little treats, the game doesn't lend itself well to replayability IMO so I wouldn't worry about it too much.

Good game !!!
GAMEPLAY PT-BR
This was a good one except I got the bug that wouldn't let me get out of bed for one of the endings! Otherwise I enjoyed myself.

Do MotM and EFR take place in the same universe?
Master Of The Manor | A Dark Encounter at the Manor: A Night to Remember
Love the game. really had you thinking and second guessing yourself
Good game and it has a decent story. You can understand the game, which is interesting, and discover different endings. Good job and keep it up.
Really enjoyed this one! Great and creepy atmosphere, an abandoned house in the middle of the woods, always creepy.
Your games have a great style, Grainwood Games! Looking forward to seeing whatever you make next :)Really well made, good little Story with lots of choices :)

Took me a while but I managed to get all 3 endings, good stuff. 👍
Nice game, got all endings, but it has copyrighted music so I needed to mute that...
I got rufeed.
has some charm to it :D the ending I got was certainly a twist!

Rock n Roll
Great game loved the atmosphere
Petit jeu sympa, j'ai juste eu un bug ou je ne pouvais pas revenir au menu à la fin de l'ending que j'ai eu.
Mais sinon dans l'ensemble le jeu a une ambiance pesante. Je recommande !
