Nice game

Loved the game! As a developer currently in the progress of starting a similar game, what engine did you use? And what did you use for the models? Also, the game feels like I've been there before!

Hi there!

The game was made in Godot 4, which I find very simple to work with. The models used are mentioned in the in-game credits but broadly:

the 'people' are from a creator name Quaternius (https://quaternius.com/packs/animatedwoman.html, https://quaternius.com/packs/animatedmen.html). Which I then strip the facial geometry from and retexture in blender (I also created some extra animations to suit my needs).

the household objects like toasters, soaps, bins etc. all came from https://elbolilloduro.itch.io/ whose models you will find are ubiquitous in Itch horror games. 50% of the games on here wouldn't exist without them lol!

The car exterior came from https://ggbot.itch.io/psx-style-cars, but I modeled and textured the interior myself.

The Takeaway itself and the Player's house I modeled and textured from scratch using a combination of [an old, free version of] Sketchup and Blender, as was the terrain. I edit/create textures in GIMP and edit audio in Audacity.

Good luck on your game!! :)

ALL I WANTED WAS SOME EGG FRIED RICE!!

I loved the game! I was interested in playing because of the other game you did "the ritual" I loved it too, and this didn't disappoint.

I got 4 endings, I don't know if those are all of them, but I'm happy with them, I think they're pretty fun and fit the overall world.

Also that, I loved the whole game, all these characters and places, some are crucial to a particular ending and others are just there! loved it

In resume, if you didn't notice, I really really enjoyed the game, and I'm pretty excited to see what you do next!

This was very fun to play. I spent about an hour getting all the endings. It's funny that you can follow the strange guy..I was super curious since you do run into him on the path that leads into town. You did a great job blocking off areas haha I was really trying to get to areas I shouldn't be at haha. Very fun game. Thank you!

One of my favorite games that I've played on here. The psx style was done excellently and I loved the game mechanics.  I was shocked by how interactive everything was in the game and I was on edge the whole time I was playing.

Here's my gameplay of it:

My Gameplay

an EGG FRIED RICE horror game... certainly wasn't expecting to play this but it's surprisingly fun!

(+2)

First of all, the game is well made and the story grew more when you interacted with different people in the game. Second, you will know more anything about MC due to the interactions. Lastly, I pursue all of the endings because this type of game gives me more curiosity about what will happen if I do the specific actions. The endings are also great and thank you for making these games. Keep it up!

I loved this game, was funny and scary! love the fact you through the old man from the manor in there!! smashed it, game dev :) xx

This was an awesome game my dude! I always love little immersive things like working lights, and driving the car was great fun, solid mechanics.  Fun little story and very entertaining I recommend completely! Here is my gameplay video, sub and help my channel grow everyone!

Great Game!

I really enjoy these PSX style mundane task simulators. Towards the end I started getting really creeped out and felt like I was in actual danger. Nice job! Game starts at 6:49

The funniest bug ever, I laughed so much

It's hilarious! (in a good way!)

(+1)

LOL that is the exact place I had the car go during playtesting!! It only happened once and I could never nail down the exact cause. I implemented what I *thought* could have helped avoid it but apparently not!

Thanks for playing :)

(+2)

Honestly got a lot more out of this game than I thought I would and was really fun to play!

(+2)

It's a pity I couldn't get all the endings, but besides that the game's very solid. And you got my thinking about food so thanks.

Here's my channel for other games I have played. https://www.youtube.com/@Levont

This was pretty dang solid! Managed to get all 4 endings. Made a video on it.

I did indeed play until i found all endings, and i loved the sense of dread you built up as the story progressed. Can't think of a single negative thing to say! Great job! Here's my No Commentary playthrough:

They Ruined my Bentley Bentayga

nice

Amazing game, one of the best games i played here, reminds me of Chilla's art games. I like how real and creepy this situation can be, when you just gone to store to buy some food, and some creep started stalking you, situations like that is always creeped me out,it's spooky as hell. I liked how eerie and disturbing this game is,the endings was interesting, 5\5

(+3)

That is exactly what I was thinking! I love this and Chilla's Art, they both reward player interactivity!

(+2)

Thank you very much :)

It is an honour to be compared to Chilla's Art, love those games!

That was another great game from you ,and  I'm just starting out with learning godot any advices for a beginner
